moving forward. The Committee now plans to hold in-depth interviews with the short-listed candidates and will observe each of them conducting worship during May and early June. The Committee will then have to
decide if it is going to recommend one of these candidates to you or to continue its search. A full update will be published in the next edition of The Arrow.

The Men’s Group is on Wednesday- 9.30am for 10am.
The Ladies’ Forum is also on Wednesday. Mrs Janet Halcrow will soothe members with her explanation of Crystal Healing.

Heart and Soul 2012 – Sunday 20th May
A celebration for the whole Church in West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, from 1pm till 6pm. The Abbey Church will have its own stand and will share the story of the Abbey with visitors- its history as a place of ancient and modern pilgrimage and worship, as well as what it does today in the modern city through initiatives by the Young Church. Please note that it has been decided not to proceed with hiring a coach, but as there are excellent transport links to Edinburgh, it is hoped that many of our congregation will travel there on the day, visit our stand, and take in the atmosphere of the event.
More information can be found at or contact David McIlroy on 01383-737660 or

Please send any notices for next Sunday by 5pm on Thursday
to Mr Paton at 01333-320765 or email
