The Retiring Offering taken last Sunday for Christian Aid raised £333.90. Many thanks to all who contributed.

The Fabric Committee is called to meet on Tuesday at 7pm in the
Session Room.

The Men’s Group meets in the Church Hall on Wednesday at 9.30am for 10am.

The Ladies’ Forum is also on Wednesday, meeting at 2pm. Mr George Beattie is speaking on ‘Dunfermline in the 1880s’.

The Lent Study Group continues on Saturday at 9am in the Church Hall.
Anyone interested in attending is welcome.

11am All-Age Family Service with participation from the Sunday School and the Abbey Youth Group
Crèche in the Church Hall

There is to be an Evening Service in the Abbey Church on Sunday 1st April at 6pm. It will be led by the ‘Signing Choir’ which is a Group from The Albany Church for the Deaf in Edinburgh, who will present their own form of worship. This promises to be a very interesting service and it is hoped that there will be good support for it.

There will be another Heartstart Session in July/ August for those who have given their names to Rosemary Miller, but were unable to attend the last course due to numbers. Date will be confirmed later.

This is the 40th anniversary of the Forth Bridge Walk for Christian Aid.
It takes place on Saturday 28th April from 2pm. If you would like to join the Abbey Group, please contact Lydia Lawson (01383-820164) or sign the sheet on the notice board before the end of March.

Heart and Soul 2012 – Sunday 20th May
Updated details of this event are on the notice board in the Old Nave.
A celebration for the whole Church in West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh from 1pm until 6pm. More information on the website at www.heartandsoul2012.org.uk

THE BIG JUBILEE LUNCH,

The Family and Youth Development Group are organising a
Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday 3rd June in the Abbey Halls after the 11am service. Fruit punch will be served on arrival followed by a two-course lunch plus musical entertainment. The cost will be £5 per person.

To get an indication of numbers for catering purposes, please put your name and number of tickets required on the list on the nave notice board.
No need to pay at the moment.

We’d also like to display any photographs you might have of the Queen, particularly of her visits to Dunfermline.
Indicate this on the list too, and we’ll get in contact with you.
