This plaque is situated above the wall shelf, commemorating all of those individuals who, up until 2004, bequeathed legacies - several of them quite substantial - which allowed major restoration and refurbishment of the Abbey Church to be undertaken.  The plaque reads:

TO THE GLORY OF GOD

Major internal restoration and refurbishment of the Abbey Church was made possible by bequests received in the names of:
