Accessibility to the Abbey Church  Anyone who may be experiencing difficulty entering the Abbey Church from the Nave, on account of frailty or infirmity, is asked to speak to the Minister direct (Tel: 01383 727311) in order that access might be provided from, for instance, the North Transept where the steps are both fewer and shallower.
Access for those with mobility disability
Wheel chair access to the Abbey Church is by the vestry door. The vestry is on the east side of the building and those requiring assisted access can be dropped off with vehicles, for that purpose only, being allowed to drive through the gates on the St Margaret Street (east)side.
There is no disabled parking available in proximity to the Church. |
